Porcelain Veneers
Sometimes referred to as "instant orthodontics", porcelain veneers offer patients the opportunity to straighten teeth without wearing braces. Dr. Jarvis can quickly straighten crooked teeth, close gaps, correct odd spacing, and reshape 
an entire smile with veneers. Embarrassing chips, cracks, and stains will also vanish in just a couple of appointments.
Porcelain veneers are hand made from fine dental porcelain for durable, yet natural looking, results. The porcelain reflects light in a similar manner as tooth enamel, yet they are thin and require little tooth preparation. Dr. Jarvis will perform a complete examination and discuss his recommendations with you to determine the best design to complement your physical features, personality, and style.
Veneers can be placed in two appointments. During the first visit, he will prepare your teeth by removing a thin layer of enamel. Then, Dr. Jarvis will take impressions, which we will send to a dental lab where an experienced ceramist will handcraft your veneers. Dr. Jarvis will apply temporary veneers, so you can begin to become accustomed to your new smile. You will return for final placement of your veneers once we receive the restorations in our office.
